- Before you can add or accept a friend on your Nintendo Switch, make sure that your user account is linked to a Nintendo Account.
- On the Nintendo Switch, you can be friends with someone when someone sends you a friend request and you accept the request or when you send a friend request to someone and they accept the friend request you sent.
- Make sure you are connected to the Internet. If you’re not connected to the internet, the friend request you send will be temporarily saved on the console until your console is connected and will then be sent.
